My poem has been banned by Facebook and I have been blocked by a writers group because of it. I thought Americans protected freedom of speech?
A Poem
Hey Americans
Hey Americans
You with the gun
I mean guns
What's on your mind?
When you pull that trigger
Is it the slopes?
The gooks?
The nigger?
Hey Americans
You with the pistol
I mean pistols
What's on your mind?
When you rack that slide
Is it the school kid?
The teenager?
Mr Jekyll and Hyde?
Hey Americans
With the AR15
And the Walmart bump stock
What's on your mind?
When you spray the crowd
Is it Muslims?
Or Jews?
Does it makes you proud?
Hey Americans
You gun nuts
Mr NRA
What's on your mind?
When you deny
Guns kill people
Young and old
It's just a bad guy
Hey Americans
Listen to this
Just spare the time
Its very simple
To change your mind
Guns kill
A simple solution
If so inclined
Hey Americans
Yes you with the gun
I mean guns
Why are you so scared?
You must be armed?
Be fully automatic
The only outcome
Is people are harmed
Hey Americans
You with the voice
I mean voices
Make yourself heard
Let's hear the shout
Loud and clear
Dump the guns
Go, bring it about.
